The Museum tells the stories of South Australian men and women who served from colonial times through to current conflicts. It also presents the histories of units from the State and illustrates the proud record of the Australian Army. The Army Museum of South Australia is easy to visit. Located in historic Keswick Barracks and minutes from downtown Adelaide you can get there by car, bus or train.

The Research Centre is a treasure trove of information on units or veterans with a South Australian connection. By prior request, the Museum has a limited capacity to help you research family members with a local military background.

The Museum has around 50 volunteers and someone is always available to explain the displays, enlighten you about South Australia’s rich military heritage or show you around the Barracks.

Add this to your family’s to-do list for the ANZAC Centenary!
