A time to honour Peace: A time to Remember

We created an exclusive range of commemorative items to mark this occasion, featuring Australian designs inspired by a generation's sacrifice and a nation's gratitude.

Limited Edition Heritage Mohair Bear

A very special bear to commemorate 100 years since the guns fell silent.

Bears to School

Bears to School – A Legacy of Learning

Great War Bears are proud to be part of 'Bears to School', a national not-for-profit initiative to help primary school children connect to lessons about service, and to commemorations that honour those who serve. In the hands of teachers these bears animate lessons in a way that respects the ages and learning needs of our youngest. Proceeds from donated bears are given to support veteran and military charities.

Australia in the Great War

Australia's five-year government Centenary of Anzac program has led the world in honouring the memory of our diggers and enshrining their memory into the hearts of future generations. Australia in the Great War has been proud to be at the forefront of supporting our nation's commemorations. Every piece we have released in the most considered and historic commemorative offerings ever created, has carried the sentiment and significance of the anniversaries we have remembered. We have proudly and faithfully shared the journey from the onset of war; through the Gallipoli campaign; to the Western Front and Middle East and importantly, we have remembered our forebears who served on land, at sea and in the air. The Centenary or Armistice is the final instalment. We have engaged millions of Australians in sharing stories and tributes to our diggers – past and present – and have along the journey raised more than $400,000 for the veteran's charity Soldier On, while also helping hundreds of other military charities raises millions of dollars more for their work with veterans and families.

It has been our great privilege to be a part of the 2014-2018 Centenary and we will continue to work with veterans' organisations, schools and communities to inspire the depth of understanding that gives meaning to Remembrance.
