Originally designed as a long-range patrol bomber, this amphibious aircraft played a crucial role in World War II, performing reconnaissance, anti-submarine warfare, convoy escort, and air-sea rescue missions. The A24-13, assigned to RAAF No.11 Squadron, flew missions in Port Moresby, New Guinea, before disappearing during a mission near Rabaul. This die-cast metal model comes in a 1/150 scale and features a plastic stand.
