Q. What Allied nations took part in the Gallipoli Campaign?
A. Britain, Australia, India, New Zealand, Newfoundland and France (including colonial troops) contributed fighting troops to the campaign; auxiliary troops came from Malta and Egypt. The Ceylon Planters Rifle Corps, a volunteer unit made up of expatriate British settlers in Ceylon, also served at Gallipoli.
