Q. Where did the Anzacs go after the evacuation?
A. Following withdrawal from the peninsula some troops went straight to Egypt, although most went to the Greek island of Lemnos, where they were treated to a few days of rest and good food in the large staging camps, before being conveyed to Egypt.
