It would seem no mission is impossible for HMAS Canberra as the huge slab side of her island was transformed into a movie screen while at anchor in Jervis Bay recently.
HMAS Canberra was taking part in the Royal Australian Navy’s Fleet Concentration Period 2015 – an annual exercise off the east coast of Australia – when crew members took time out for entertainment.
HMA Ships Canberra, Siris, Anzac, Arunta, Stuart, Warramunga, Darwin, Rankin, Dechaineux, Diamantina, Gascoyne and Yarra also took part in the Fleet Concentration, along with aircraft from 723 Squadron, 808 Squadron and 816 Squadron.
Royal Australian Air Force AP-3C, FA-18A and H-127 aircraft also supported the exercise.
