Legacy Badge Day 2018

Legacy's promise is to help the families of deceased veterans live rich and meaningful lives. Ninety-five years after its founding, Legacy now assists more than 60,000 Australian widows, widowers and children. It’s an incredible achievement, in service of an exceptional cause.

Legacy relies greatly on support from the public to continue its life-changing services to its beneficiaries. Since 1942 Legacy’s flagship fundraising event has been Legacy Week, when all of us have an opportunity to donate in memory of our nation’s service men and women.

The Minister for Veterans’ Affairs, Darren Chester MP, encourages taking a few seconds to make a donation: “Legacy week is the time to show your support by buying a badge from the dedicated Legacy volunteers or our outstanding Australian Defence Force personnel who are out and about on street corners, trains stations and shopping centres across the nation”.
