Q. What were the dates of the Gallipoli Campaign?
A. The Gallipoli Campaign opened on 25 April 1915 with the landing of Allied troops at various points on the peninsula. For the Anzacs the campaign ended on the night of 20 December 1915 when the last handful of Anzacs was evacuated; the campaign itself officially ended on 8 January 1915 when the last British troops were evacuated from Helles.
