The Silver War Badge is a tribute to the brave service personnel who were honourably discharged due to wounds or sickness during World War I. This exclusive badge, also known as the "Discharge Badge" or "Wound Badge", was first issued in September 1916 and comes with an official certificate of entitlement.

The Silver War Badge features the royal cipher of "GRI" (Georgius Rex Imperator) and the inscription "For King and Empire - Services Rendered" around the rim. Each badge is uniquely numbered on the reverse, ensuring its authenticity and historical significance.
