Avalon Air Show 2025: A Tribute to Aviation & Community Spirit
The Avalon Air Show 2025 brought together aviation enthusiasts, industry professionals, and defence personnel from around the world for an unforgettable six-day event. With over 200,000 attendees, the show stood as a testament to the enduring fascination and respect for aviation innovation and air power.
A Gathering of Excellence
This year’s event saw 902 exhibitors from 28 nations, showcasing cutting-edge aviation technology and strengthening global partnerships. The Trade Days welcomed over 60,000 attendees, including top industry leaders and military delegations from 43 nations, reinforcing Avalon’s significance as a key defence and aerospace hub. The Careers Days also played a crucial role, inspiring over 7,000 students to pursue careers in aviation, aerospace, and defence.
Beyond the impressive numbers, the Avalon Air Show provided a breathtaking display of 350 aircraft, both on the ground and in the skies, thrilling spectators with aerobatic excellence, advanced military technology, and historic warbirds.
Our Thoughts with Glenn Collins
While the event was a remarkable success, it was not without its challenges. A tragic accident saw aviation veteran Glenn Collins critically injured during a demonstration. Our thoughts are with him and his family during this difficult time. His decades of dedication to aviation and his service to the community are deeply respected, and we join the entire aviation community in wishing him a full and swift recovery.
Air Force Shop at Avalon 2025
The Air Force Shop team was honoured to be part of this incredible event, connecting with visitors, veterans, and aviation professionals. Our range of commemorative and military-themed products received overwhelming love and appreciation from attendees. Some of the most popular items included, The Adventures of William Brambleberry: Aviator Mouse Book & Toy Set – A heartwarming favourite among aviation enthusiasts and kids. History of the Rising Sun Hat Badge Wall Frame – This captivating frame highlights the evolution of the Rising Sun Hat Badge, delving into its origins and featuring removable mounted versions of seven badge iterations. Hutton Trophy and Rising Sun Plaque – A beautifully crafted timber plaque featuring a mounted version of the seventh iteration of the iconic Rising Sun Hat Badge, accompanied by a small replica of the Hutton Trophy of Arms.
