Tanks from Battle Group Lion roar onto the objective during Exercise Predator's Gallop 16.
The live-fire exercise was held in March 2016 at Cultana Training Area not far from Port Augusta, South Australia.
The activities involved Tanks, ASLAV Cavalry Reconnaissance Vehicles and M113 Armoured Personnel Carriers.
Infantry, Combat Engineers and Artillery also participated, with joint live-fire attacks launched across a series of demanding defensive positions.
Royal Australian Air Force F-18's were also involved in the exercise.
